DISC-FUNCTION:
Functional Discrimination of Membrane Proteins.

Discriminating membrane proteins based on their functions is an important task in genome annotation. In this work, we have developed methods for (i) discriminating membrane transport proteins from all other globular and membrane proteins and (ii) clssifying the membrane transport proteins into channels/pores, electrochemical potential-driven transporters and primary active transporters.

Select a method for discrimination

1. DISC-GLOB-MEMB-TRANSPORT: Discrimination of Membrane Transport Proteins from all other Globular and Membrane Proteins.

2. DISC-TRANSPORT: Discrimination of Channels/Pores, Electrochemical and Active Transporters in Membrane Proteins.
